Gmail first launched 1^st April 2004 (its developer is Paul Buchheit), it was available by invation only.
The first Gmail accounts were donated to 1,000 users. The users, who worked in Google, members of their families and their friends. It happend on 21^st March 2004. Since this time, is used people (they test it).

With an initial storage capacity of 1000 megabyte (1 MB), and in this day is capacity 7275 megabytov (7275 MB). In this time is registration free. You don't need invation to Gmail.

Some people are afraid about privacy. Because Gmail is reading our messages and sends information of our email messages to the centre of Google. Og this information are generated advertisements, which we can see in the column. This column is on rigth.However, Gmail reads spam message (but I ithing that is advantage).

Gmail are attracted to the slick, interactive, real-application-like Ajax interface.

Gmail runs on the Google GFE/1.3 server which runs on Linux.

Gmail is supported Internet Explorer 5.5+, Mozilla Application Suite 1.4+, Firefox 0.8+, Safari 1.2.1+, K-Meleon 0.9+, Netscape 7.1+, Opera 9+ a AOL 9.0 Browser.
